ICE WON'T ACCUMULATE ON WEARLON®!! | |
One of the top five chemical
companies in the world had a major problem in 1995 with a damper that
would freeze up during winter weather and cause a major EPA health hazard
which resulted in the shutdown of their facility.

In the early Fall of 1996, less than one gallon of Wearlon® 2020.90 was applied to the inside of the damper. In March of 1997, the company deemed the project a success. Less than one gallon of Wearlon® saved the company over $200,000, according to the plant representative. |

Because of the low surface friction of Wearlon®,
ice will not accumulate on the Wearlon® coated object. This enables
communication towers, microwave and radio antennas and receivers to remain
ice free. Any moving parts outdoors can be coated with Wearlon® and
will not freeze up. Snow plows no longer accumulate packed snow and in
fact, throw the snow much farther. Consider coating eaves and gutters
with Wearlon® to prevent harmful icicles from falling on bystanders.
In summary, wherever ice is a problem, Wearlon® is the solution!
